How does the WMS work?

  • Your Duty Sub-Officer or designee, in consultation with the Station/Unit Commander, is responsible for preparing a monthly Duty Forecast in keeping with the operational plan.
  • Your Approving Officer is responsible for authorising the Duty Forecast before it is published as an official Duty Roster.
  • Each member is required to Clock In utilising an approved method for a Time Sheet to be generated.
  • Where an emergency situation occurs in which a member is required to take law enforcement action (Non-Shift Related Overtime), an Extra Time Ticket is to be prepared.
  • Time Sheets and Extra Time Tickets are verified and authorised at the end of each Work Week and submitted to Payroll for processing of Overtime payment.
